Mathematics Resources on the Web

The University of Chicago School Mathematics Project has a web page, but it doesn’t seem to have much helpful free stuff.

Everyday Mathematics Basic Algorithms is a page at NYU that lists some of the important strategies that are used to teach addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in Everyday Mathematics.

Try to figure out the Flash Mind Reader, an online puzzle. Then click here to read Steve Froikin’s explanation and learn how you can use the same strategy in solving math problems.
